Blue Butterfly summer camp is held in the historical St. John's Fortress in \u0160ibenik.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"et_pb_module et_pb_text et_pb_text_9 et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_dark\">\n<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fba3ab5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fba3ab5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n<p><strong>St. John's Fortress\u00a0<\/strong>was built in 1646 in less than two months at the beginning of the Candian War according to the project of the Venetian military engineer Antonio.<\/p>\n<p>A year later, in 1647, there were heavy battles with the army of the Turkish pasha Tekelija, who wanted to occupy it in order to rule the city.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/tvrdjavasvivana\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/tvrdjavasvivana<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The fortress has a star-shaped ground plan, and on the northern side it is reinforced by a high brick embankment in the shape of a pincer (Italian: tanaglia), which is where the name Tanaja, which the people of \u0160ibenik often use, comes from.<\/p>\n<p>During the second half of the 17th century, the fortress was reshaped and strengthened several times.<\/p>\n<h3><em><strong><a
